The traditional wooden frame is covered with the hides of four Bearded seals... Really?!
No, not really. And there's a good reason they don't build skin boats in southern New England -- they rot! However, this kayak's oil-cloth covering is tailor-sewn in the traditional Esquimo style. Kayak was made in 2003.
